These Asian Style Ribs are low-effort and high-reward. A generous coat of McCormick Montreal Seasoning, a long slow roast at 275°, and a finish with my homemade Japanese barbecue sauce — that's really all it takes. The ribs come out fall-off-the-bone tender every single time.
Ingredients
- 1–2 racks of ribs
- McCormick Montreal Seasoning (enough to coat both sides)
- Japanese barbecue sauce (see recipe)
- Jasmine rice, for serving

Serve with jasmine rice, broccoli, and freshly grated shredded carrots.
Tips & Variations
- ✦Don't skip removing the silverskin — it makes a big difference in tenderness.
- ✦Grate your carrots fresh right before serving for the best texture.
- ✦The Japanese barbecue sauce is the star here — make a double batch to keep on hand.
